Venue: Eklavya Foundation, Bhopal
Date: 5th – 7th February 2025

Vidiyal Child Rights Movement participated in the Agents of Change workshop under Project Ankur, led by The Concerned for Working Children (CWC) with support from AJWS. Child participants M. Gopinath & P. Nisha, accompanied by chaperone & translator Angeline Devapriya J, engaged in an intensive three-day residential training focused on leadership, advocacy, participatory research, and strategic planning.

The sessions covered key capacity-building tools:
-Hot Air Balloon Tool – SWOT analysis for goal setting and identifying challenges
-Step Tool – Process documentation with an emphasis on emotions and facts
-5 W’s & 1 H – Structured problem-solving through critical questioning
-Balance Tool on Representation – Strengthening leadership and equitable participation

Gopinath and Nisha enhanced their knowledge and skills through interactive sessions and group activities, coupled with input sessions. The Gallery Walk provided an opportunity to showcase the milestones and achievements of Vidiyal Child Rights Movement (VCRM) while also enabling them to understand children’s initiatives from different states, fostering cross-learning and collaboration.

Beyond training, they explored Van Vihar, Museum of Mankind, Tribal Museum, Sanchi Stupa, and Udayagiri Caves, making cultural connections. They also enjoyed their first flight experience, adding to the excitement of this transformative journey.
