Jolly Camp Day 2 – The Rise of Education

by / No Comments / 47 View / May 3, 2025

Day 2 of Jolly Camp 2025 unfolded with the theme Kalviyin Eluchi (Rise of Education), highlighting the transformative power of learning. The day began with a powerful story presented by Mr. Anbu in a roleplay style that engaged the children meaningfully.

In the afternoon, a puppet show based on the day’s theme added fun and depth. It was anchored by Mr. James and performed by staff members Mr. Anbu, Ms. Mareeswari, Mr. Baskar, Mr. Gopal, and volunteers Ms. Jeyasri and Ms. Anusuya. Mr. D. Arockiam introduced the song of the day, written and composed by him, which beautifully echoed the message of the theme.

Two cheerful, uplifting songs were introduced by Ms. Subashini and Mr. Chandran, who also wrote and composed it, bringing more joy and energy to the children.

Creative sessions continued with art and craft, clay modelling, and painting, followed by engaging physical activities such as gymnastics, karate, skating, silambattam, and folk dance.

Today is the Day of Cleanliness, with all teams actively engaged in cleaning their surroundings, fostering a sense of ownership, pride, and collective responsibility.
