Today’s camp echoed the spirit of humanity, compassion, and care, celebrated through the theme Manithathin Eluchi (The Rise of Humanity).
The day began with a powerful story shared by Mr. Anil Godwin Kumar about Fr. Sindhutai Sapkal, a dedicated social worker who nurtured and raised hundreds of orphaned children. Her story moved the children and ignited conversations about kindness, empathy, and social responsibility.
Mr. Anil also introduced the song of the day, a lively and uplifting composition that beautifully conveyed the essence of humanity and togetherness. The entire camp joined in with energy and joy.
Children participated in regular sessions including art and craft, physical activities, and team games, continuing the camp’s vibrant routine.

As part of Friendship Day celebrations, children wrote thoughtful friendship letters to peers in the camp — expressing gratitude, joy, and admiration. These letters were collected in a post box and later distributed by the Members of the Vidiyal Child Rights Movement’s Managing Committee (MC). The moment brought joy, laughter, and strengthened the bonds of friendship.
