The Short Film Festival organized by the Image Media Club was a day filled with cinematic exploration and critical engagement. A total of 58 children participated, eagerly watching and analyzing 10 short films spanning across different genres.
The event was anchored by Mr. Jesley and Dr. C. Jim Jesudoss, who kept the energy alive and guided the discussions with enthusiasm and insight.
After each screening, the children engaged in insightful discussions—sharing their likes, dislikes, and unique perspectives. These critiques reflected their growing understanding of storytelling, direction, and visuals.
After a thoughtful round of feedback and voting, the short film ‘Nerkanal’ was selected as the Film of the Day, having captured the imagination and appreciation of the young viewers.
Adding to the excitement, 12 children were recognized as the Best Critics of the Festival for their thoughtful observations and articulate critiques. As a special reward, these young film critics will soon enjoy a big screen movie experience.
