May 13–17, 2025
A five-day intensive Workshop on Problem Solving and Decision Making was held for senior children of the Vidiyal Child Rights Movement from May 13 to 17, 2025 at the Vidiyal Training Centre. Designed to build critical thinking and responsible decision-making skills, the workshop empowered children to face challenges with clarity and confidence.

Each day began with singing sessions and reflections, creating a safe and engaging learning environment. The sessions covered a range of insightful topics including:
Understanding the nature of problems
Accepting and owning problems
Conflict resolution and perception
Basic steps in problem-solving and decision-making
Predicting consequences and assessing risk
Making ethical choices and becoming responsible decision-makers
Children also explored real-life societal problems and discussed how their decisions could lead to social change. Through interactive sessions, energizers, and group discussions, the workshop encouraged active participation and deep personal reflection.

The final day concluded with an evaluation, creative preparation for a final programme, and a heartfelt feedback and closure session.
