Empowering Children at Tiruchendur: Vidiyal Camp 2025

by / No Comments / 3 View / October 4, 2025

Vidiyal recently organized a five-day residential camp from 27th Sep to 1st October 2025 at Tiruchendur under the theme “களத்தில் நின்று போராடு, வெற்றி என்றும் உன்னோடு.” Close to 100 children from Vidiyal’s urban and rural program areas participated in this life-shaping journey. The camp offered a vibrant mix of learning and fun. Sessions on the theme encouraged children to build courage, resilience, and determination. Adventure games and group games kept the children energized, teaching teamwork and leadership in playful ways.

Cultural programs, creative workshops, and sharing circles added depth and joy to their days. Beyond the camp setting, children explored the beauty of the region—playing at Tiruchendur beach, visiting the scenic Manapad beach, exploring Arunjunai, and experiencing the unique Red Sand Forest.

These outings filled them with wonder and strengthened bonds of friendship. The camp was not just recreation but a meaningful experience where children discovered their strengths, expressed themselves freely, and returned with renewed confidence to stand strong in life’s battles.
