Marking the 30th Anniversary of Sakthi – Vidiyal, we organized a community Pongal Celebration at Madurai College grounds. 50 families from Vidiyal’s partnering communities gathered and cooked sweet pongal. The air was filled with joyous shouts and colours. Fathers and mothers participated in events and won prizes.

During the half yearly vacation (26th to 31st December) the children belonging to the intermediate age group underwent a training called Sexual Health Intervention Programme. Mr.Anbu anchored sessions for boys and Ms.Preethi, Ms.Sophiya and Ms.Muthulakshimi anchored sessions for girls.
