Sunday, 14th April 2024, we organized a training programme for Jolly Camp leaders. Our staff and volunteers enthusiastically participated in the training and learnt various aspects of the camp. Mr.M.Anbu, Co-ordinator welcomed the participants and conducted an icebreaker after the singing session. Dr.C.Jim Jesudoss, Founder and Executive Director, enabled the participants to understand the Aims, objectives and framework of Jolly Camp. It was followed by a session anchored by Dr.V.Christopher Ramesh, who enlightened the participants on the Ideological framework in developing curriculum and pedagogy for children. His thought provoking session was much appreciated by the participants. After lunch Mr.Selvakumar, Digital Media Trainer conducted an energizer. After that Dr.Sharmila Jim, Director – Child Protection facilitated a session on ‘Effective teaching methodologies’. Mr.S.Anil Godwin Kumar, Director – Child Participation anchored a session on ‘Sensory learning in children’. Mr.D.Arockiam, Director – Child Development explained the Jolly Camp design and allocated responsibilities to the team. Mr.P.Chandran, Student Counsellor proposed a vote of thanks.
