Vidiyal has been networking with likeminded organizations in the promotion and protection of children’s rights. Sakthi – Vidiyal was a founding core team member of the National Movement of Working Children – India which surfaced the voices of working children at national and international child participation initiatives.
The CR4WSF, a net work of organizations working with children was founded in the year 2004 in which Vidiyal had been a founding member and took active participation in the facilitation of the children’s processes.
Sakthi – Vidiyal headed the Campaign Against Child Trafficking – Tamilnadu and organized several consultations to map trafficking in children. The results were shared with a wider platform for advocacy.
Sakthi – Vidiyal played a pro active role in the formation and functioning of the Forum for Promotion of Child Participation (FPCP), Tamilnadu and Pudhucherry since January 2006. The South Zone secretariat and the leadership of the Task Force on Facilitating Children’s federation – FCMRP were headed by Sakthi – Vidiyal for the period between 2006 and 2010.
