Academic and Technical
• 100% enrolment in school is attained in our work area.
• 13% have reached technical training whereas the state average for children from excluded
communities is just 0.6%
• 12% have reached graduation and post-graduationwhereas the state average is mere 2.7%
• 1999 – Breaking all odds 5 children entered college. This brought great hope in children
from excluded communities. At present
• Today (June 2022) 49 boys and 29 girls have completed graduation
• 20 Boys and 17 girls completed post-graduation
• 32 boys and 18 girls have completed diploma in technical training.
• 1 Boy has successfully completed Ph.D., in Social Work and one Girl is pursuing Ph.D., in
Para Medical Science
• 665 women have competed tailoring training and 420 have received sewing machines
• 37 Men and 9 women have completed driving training and got license

• 1999 & 2000 Vidiyal children bagged the Taek wondo championship trophy
• 2009 Our girls Ms. Loganayaki, Ms.Sharmila, Ms.Nandhiswari and Ms.Anita represented Vidiyal Child Rights Movement in All India Karate tournament at Mumbai and won 1 gold 2 silver and 3 bronze medals
• 2010 September our children bagged 1 Gold 2 Silver and 3 Bronze medals in the district level tournament held in Madurai
• 2010 October our children won 2 Gold 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medals in the zonal level tournament held at Tuticorin
• 2011 October our children bagged 2 Gold 2 Silver and 1 Bronze medals in the district level tournament held in Madurai
• 2011 November – K.Loganayaki won the silver medal in Karate at the Indo – Malaysian Karate tournament held at, Kulalumpur, Malaysia.
• 2013 January our children won 3 Gold 5 Silver and 3 Bronze medals in the zonal level tournament held at Sivaganga
• 2013 February – Indo – Malaysian Karate tournament held at Goa, V.Surya Narayanan and T.Muthukumar won a gold medal each.
• 2014 February – Indo – Malaysian Karate tournament held at Goa, P.Nandheeswari won gold
and a silver medal. R.Sasikala, won gold and a silver medal.
• 2014 October our children won 2 Gold 4 Silver and 2 Bronze medals in the district level
tournament held in Madurai
• 2015 Our children won 2 Gold and 4 Silver medals in the district level tournament.
• 2016 Our children won 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze medals in the district level
tournament.
• 2018 Our children won 3 Silver and 4 Bronze medals in the district level tournaments.
• 2022 Our child won 2 Silver medals in the South India Karate Championship

Black Belts

• 5 boys have been awarded with black belt in Taek wondo
• 31 boys and 15 girls have been awarded with black belt in Karate

Computer Education

• 257 boys and 210 girls have been completed training in computer education.

Carrom

• 2016, Debut victory by one of our girls K.Pandeeswaari who won second prize in the district
level tournament competition. This was the first time they entered into competitions after
special coaching offered during weekends.
• 2016, she won the first prize in the district level tournament.
• 2018, M.Sangeetha won the first prize; A.Boopathi and G.Muthulakshmi won second prizes.
• 2018, G.Muthulakshmi won the first prizes in two district level tournaments.
• 2019, P.Marimuthu won the second prize and P.Malarvili won the third prize in the district level tournament organized by YMCA
