Vidiyal Child Rights Movement is a child led organization founded on the principles of Child Participation.

Know Your Rights!A child means every human being below the age of eighteen years

Know Your Rights!Children have the right to clean drinking water, nutritious food, and protection from environmental pollution.

Know Your Rights!If children have been neglected or abused, children should receive special help to restore their self-respect.

Know Your Rights!The education of the child should promote the development of the child’s personality, talents and mental and physical abilities to their fullest potential.

Know Your Rights!If a child who has come into a country as a refugee, he/she should have the same rights as children born in that country.

Know Your Rights!States Parties that recognize and/or permit the system of adoption shall ensure that the best interests of the child shall be the paramount consideration.

Know Your Rights!Children have the right to be protected from economic exploitation and from performing any work that is likely to be hazardous or to interfere with the child’s education, or to be harmful to the child’s health or physical, mental, spiritual, moral or social development.

Know Your Rights!All children have the right to be protected, regardless of race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national, ethnic or social origin, property, disability, birth or other status.

Know Your Rights!States shall take measures to combat the illicit transfer and non-return of children abroad.
