We camped on the banks of the Vaigai River, where the serene setting added a special charm to Jolly Camp
The theme of the day, Porattathin Eluchi, focused on the power of struggle and how movements have shaped justice and dignity for all.
The story of the day was presented by Ms. Palaneeswari, who narrated the inspiring life of Ayyankali, a fearless reformer from Kerala who rose to prominence through his relentless fight against caste discrimination and social injustice.

Mr. Gopal introduced the song of the day, capturing the essence of rising through resistance and collective strength.
In the afternoon assembly children from Junior, Inter and Senior groups took part in a powerful reflection activity facilitated by Mr. Anil Godwin Kumar, where they shared how they would strive to overcome struggles like gender inequality, caste bias, and other barriers in society.
Today was also celebrated as the Day of Love Feast — a cherished celebration where children brought home-cooked food and came together to share a common meal in unity. The spirit of oneness filled the camp as they lunched together, regardless of team or background.
After the Love Feast, the children had a joyful time at the Vaigai river, playing in the water and enjoying nature — a fitting end to a day dedicated to struggle, togetherness, and joy.
