One-Day Training-Skills for Development Workers Working with Adolescent Children

Anchored by Dr. Sujatha Rita, the session was highly interactive and reflective in nature. Volunteers engaged in thought-provoking activities that explored key aspects of building and sustaining meaningful relationships with adolescents.
Through skits and discussions, they examined concepts such as: Demonstrating sincerity Staying emotionally balanced Striving for objectivity Modeling a positive attitude The training also covered the duties, skills, and qualities of a youth worker, offering practical tools and insight into the profession.
A crucial section of the training was dedicated to understanding the stages of adolescent development, helping participants align their work with the evolving needs of young people. It was a day of deep reflection, practical learning, and renewed commitment to youth development.
