An exposure visit was organised on 10th August 2025 for the team from People’s Action for Development (PAD), Vembar, at the Vidiyal Training Centre, Madurai. The programme began with a welcome, singing, and context setting by Dr. C. Jim Jesudoss, where participants enjoyed an action song and a story. This was followed by a participatory session on understanding child rights, led by Mr. D. Arockiam. Dr. Jim then facilitated an engaging session on the importance of child participation through stories and a simulation exercise, prompting thought and discussion.

After lunch, young facilitators of the Vidiyal Child Rights Movement conducted an energizer and led creative activities on practicing child participation in various platforms, showcasing child protagonism. The day concluded with an open session for questions and feedback, facilitated by Dr. Jim.

The visit provided participants with a hands-on, inspiring experience of Vidiyal’s child rights work and its emphasis on active child involvement.
